The past few weeks have been tight foodwise, there hasn't been much of anything on sale in the grocery stores so I've been left with mostly bananas. Finally, yesterday, my dates arrived. 12 pounds of organic sugar bliss! They are so soft and delicious, soooo much better than the conventional ones I was getting in the store and for the same price!

I'm hoping and praying that I'll make it to the tropics this winter. My website is pretty much complete, but now the tricky part- getting people to check it out. Luckily I've got people helping me out since I don't know anything about computers:) I also finally listed my ballerina painting on etsy so I've got my fingers crossed that it will sell soon.

I'm nearing my 6 month mark of fruitarianism. It's been great so far. I realized yesterday, after eating 4 avocadoes, what I felt like eating cooked food. I'm so grateful that I found the fruity life. I feel light and alive 100% of the time and I never have to worry about any of the things that SADers do.

Watermelon Only

I had bought a huge amount of mangoes, but had to return them because they were rotting before ripening. With the money I got back I bought 4 watermelons, and have been eating only them for 2 days now. I wish I could go longer, but I'll need to buy more and they are still $8 each right now.
I think I'm detoxing a bit from eating so lightly. My nose is runny, and my stomach has been doing some strange things. I almost threw up this morning. But I'm feeling very peaceful. I practiced deep breathing for a few hours last night and tried candle meditation. I've also been doing a lot of yoga, usually about an hour a day. I'm beginning to love it and look forward to it more and more.
My website is coming along slowly but surely and soon I will have my business going. I'm so excited about it. I'll be able to do what I've always dreamed. To help people with their health and travel at the same time.

My new blog=D

I was writing on a different blog, but certain family members were being very unsupportive, so I decided to start a new blog, one that people who admire fruitarianism can enjoy.

Today feels like a new start for some reason, but I'm not sure why. I've been 100% fruitarian for 5 months now, and I'm feeling amazing. 2 days ago I had my first watermelon of the season. I had been anxiously waiting all winter and it was everything I expected it to be. When I was eating it I couldn't imagine ever leaving the state of bliss that it brought to me. I couldn't think anything, it was as if I'd turned to light. Ever since I've been like a junkie waiting to get another fix. Soon! I ordered 12 pounds of organic khadrawy dates this morning for only $6/lb. I can't wait until they arrive! I've been eating mandarin oranges, medjool dates, bananas and apple sauce(I run them through the juicer with the blank in place). Strangely, my craving for apples is increasing now that they're very much out of season. The other day I used my rain check for 20 mangoes at only 88 cents each, and they'll be ripe within a couple of days...ahhh, bliss!

You may be wondering how I'm affording all this amazing fruit. Well, I just got introduced to wellness coaching and I'm starting my own business. I'm so excited about it. There's a lot of work to get started-books to write, websites to create, tons of research, but hopefully I'll be up and running within a month. I can't believe this, I'm going to be living my dream. I'll be coaching and inspiring people to lead healthier, happier lives, I'll be earning a living, and I'll be able to operate my business from anywhere in the world. I suddenly feel like the luckiest person alive!
